Semarang here i am

Why now i am in semarang.....

1. i got a job training at my aunt company.
2. looking something to do while i am looking for a job.
3. because i don't what else i can do to fill my day.
   

this company seems far far away from than i think before. although it is a small company, but it is really busy. everyone seem to go in rush, and this company also don't have good organizational, i wonder what makes my aunt think that everyone can do every task in the company. one the weakness of the company is their back office system, they don't have organized product catalog, management software to trace and keep transaction data to keep their company transparent and accountable, everything done in manual way. they use Microsoft excel to keep track of data for their invoice and PO, and i have seen 388 transaction for invoice and 400+ for PO it is huge number, if their company transaction become bigger and bigger it must be really hard to keep the track record of it. and the last weakness that really need to be fix soon is file management system, all the files and folder has been scattered everywhere if their product data become bigger and bigger it must be a little bit hard to find the file, i guess they need to SAN to keep their data centralized. that is my analysis for this company, next step how to improve this.

the company selling as far as i see is pretty good, although hit by global crisis and a little bit stuck because cancellation from a company in Spain. the company salesman is solid and great (as i seen in 4 day), everyday they always have an e-mail request for product quotation, meeting (in 4 day there is 2 meeting) wow i think it is pretty good for small company with 4 worker and 1 intern (it is me). and in February they have planning to make a sale to release burden because of cancellation from Spain, and to decrease warehouse fee for the product. and i think it is really good, i wonder if i can make internet marketing for this things.

one of the most important thing i try become useful in that company, although i don't know what to do.
